Tulum, Mexico

December 14, 2015

Considering our back-pack trip isn’t for another few months, I figured I may as well get the hang of this blog thing with a few practice posts. Bear with me as I try and figure this out!

Last month we took a family trip to Tulum, Mexico-an area of Mexico we both have never been to before. We went for a week and are now definitely missing the sunshine, endless tacos, and lazy days at the beach.

We stayed at an all-inclusive resort so we didn’t venture too far out into other cities. But we did make sure to go and see a couple of the Mayan ruins.

We also went to a (somewhat sketchy looking) cenote which was definitely a highlight for the both of us. There are several in the area but the one we visited was completely enclosed with roots from the trees above hanging down. So beautiful!

The rest of the days we spent at the beach eating way too much food and spending time with family. Oh, and standing in line to get new room keys. Which we lost three times…oops!

Until next time, Mexico!
